Bulletstorm aka "Rednecks from space"

I just played a few hours of BulletStorm and I got to say….despite the shitty installation errors this is a really, really, really fun game to play.

The story is pretty simple.  You play as Grayson Hunt, a soldier part of an Elite peace keeping force who along with his fellow soldier Ishi, get stranded on a paradise world where savages rein and peace is no option.  The only thing on their minds is get off the planet and take their revenge on a former employer.

This game is sick (in a cool way).  It’s fast paced, smooth, the controls are good and the kills are insanely fun.  You get this leash which you yank enemies towards you, kick them away and riddle them with bullets as they fly slowly back and lets not forget the crazy plant life that tries to kill you.

You get scores for different kills and you can upgrade your weapons.  You can fling an enemy into a cactus, kick them off a ledge, shoot them in the balls, shoot them in the ass, shoot them in the throat (GAG REFLEX) and take some awesome head shots.  There are so many things you can do. For some reason when I hear Grayson speak I immediately think back to a game I played in high school, Red Neck Rampage.  “I’m gonna open up a can of whip ass on you!” is the first thing in my head.

When you have those days where you feel like you could kill someone, I recommend playing this game with its non stop action, original killing system, the humorous dialogue and all the different ways you can kill your enemies to be quiet a good way of channelling some rage out of you

This is definitely a “Gamers Therapy” kind of game.
